Ok this test was done by Mike Burton. Altitude about 4250. Density close to 7200 ft all other things constant. Mike weights about the same as me. Still over 400 ft per min climb at a full load. Very cool Chris did a thrust test and got 490 lbs with the Bolly prop.

So, what you are saying, is that the prop is also Far Superior?

"very full load" was 490# of peoples, and about 12 gal of liquid that you put in the gas tank.

Decent, or no ???? :Flag :whoop

Desmon, how does the Titanium with the bolly's thrust of 490# compare with your MTO 912 and Ivo? I am sure the Titanium will win, but how close is yours? I am just interested because I am a nosey barstarge :noidea :lie :laughing :laughing :chainsaw :wol2 :Wolvie

That's an interesting question. I did not do a thrust test. This would have helped to set a baseline. However my 912IS did better at altitude then three years ago when I had just a 912uls. The turbo still helps at high altitude for sure.

So, comparing the 2, is the Titanium a little better on thrust, a lot better or simply.... Far Superior? :laughing :laughing :wol2 :Wolvie

Or is the MTO embarrassingly 'thrust free' :noidea :laughing
