Flight to Clearwater with Kent Goddard
Author Message
Gordon and I flew to Tampa North (X39) yesterday where we met up with Kent Goddard. I then followed Kent to Clearwater Beach, down the beach, over the Sunshine Skyway bridge, to Manatee (48X). Nice little grass strip there where we refueled and headed home. Nice 3.5 hour cross country, enjoying the beauty of Florida.
Some pics.

Jeff-. What I love about this is you are a great example of working hard for what you have....then knowing how to really enjoy the fruits of your labor. You help pull the planet instead of dragging it down!

I agree Stan.... what Jeff is doing is EXACTLY what gyros are, what they are for.... this is their purpose IMO.... yes, a gyro can work, round up cows, catch speeding motorists, spray crops etc.... but really, they are just fun transport & pleasure..... I am totally green with envy.... Jeff has a fantastic looking and running machine, ready to go whenever he has time..... I can feel Jeff's enjoyment from the pics he takes so well :like

Good onya Jeff.... you rock (so does annoying orange) proud of you mate! :laughing :laughing :wol2 :Wolvie

Oh and fick FJ :rofl

Good job Lofty! Kent told me a few years ago that He was spending his childrens inheritance on his gyro and fuel...Good for Him! You two are great ambasadors for the sport.

Thanks folks. Without exception, whenever we fly in to any new airport, the gyros get a lot of attention. This can only help promote the sport.

.

Love the pictures Jeff .... many things amaze me about Americans , especially when it comes to bridges

If you need a 5 mile long bridge you build one !!!!

If you need a 24 mile long bridge you build one !!!

And once you have them built , you park the car and FLY OVER THEM

And not a speck of snow anywhere

.
