.

I had a peddle boat like that Tim , they are great on lakes if it is not windy and rivers if the current is not strong

Mine was a 2 seater with a central joystick and most important it had a built-in beer cooler in the back

They have a clever way of steering , the paddle wheel is inside a tunnel and it directs the water toward the rudder , you can sit in one spot and do 360's

They are nearly indestructible (except for ficking forklifts) .... the paddles and rudder are semi-flexible plastic and you can go over rocks and logs and nothing gets damaged

I bought mine from a rental guy , it had seen lots of use , then I used and abused it for 15 years , then sold it to a Hutterite colony and 50 kids use it continually since then , the only maintenance was scrubbing the scum off once a year with a brush and soapy water

You will find a slow relaxed peddle speed will move you along pretty good , trying to spin it fast just splashes a lot of water around like turbulance

If I was really smart I would have kept the wife I had back then , she liked to do most of the peddling , and even bought the beer sometimes :)

Have fun !!!!

Very nice Tim , and I like the trailer too , your boat looks similar to the one I had , but mine was an older one , probably from around 1990 , looks like they have made them even better now , looks like you even have a sun-shade convertible top thingy

There is only one thing I dont like about that picture

YOU HAVE NO SNOW ON THE GROUND GRRRRRRRRR !!

Haaaaa .... it all melted here 2 weeks ago , now we got a 6 inch dump again. Rivers and lakes still covered with ice

We fired our weatherman , I hear he moved to Florida and now he is a ficking forklift driver stabbing boats on the loading docks

.
:Can
