 Heli down in New Zealand.... wire strike!

Unfortunately a heli hit wires and was lost at French Pass, in the Marlbro Sounds on the broken land around the north of the South Island. The power was cut to the area and the machine was located in 10M (32') of eater.... Condolences to the pilots family and loved ones.... a timely reminder to us, both heli and gyro pilots, to be aware of wires in your area... and just because you regularly fly under or over long spans of wire, the temperature of the day can result in them being higher or lower than normal..... so take care :noidea :like :yoda2 :wol2 :Wolvie
