yep no container for me, we refused deleivery since they could not put it where needed. I mean we had just paid to have that area leveled.

well there is a 6 foot deep pit where they dug out the sand to level the spot to put them. we don't have a tractor and don't have extra money to pay for anything else. we now also are stuck with the 40' arch building we had put the deposit on, they where going to charge us 50% of the Total building cost for breach of contract. Fuck U.S. Buildings Company. they called to schedule deleivery and had it listed to ship to fucking Okeechobee, even though we never had land there. fucking dumb ass company. when we where renting there we had them send us some info on the Channel kit. I guess they thought we had bought land there.

anyway everything is a cluster fuck since we moved here.

Its not a curse Tim ... it is the sand .... pretty hard to drive anything on sand ... spin a wheel even half a turn and you are stuck , period .... nobody's fault per say

If there is a tractor around that could give him a bit of a pull out of the hole .... then the trucker might be able to back up again in a nice smooth motion to the spot you want ... the trick is not to stop partway ... keep the truck moving

ps: I had a 40 foot container delivered to our farm , set it in the perfect spot .... and I have more experience being stuck in sand than anyone I know .

How not to get a Container dropped off. they could not set it where we needed it, so we sent it back. don't ask what i plan to do now as I don't have a clue. sometimes I feel like just selling everything I own and saying fuck it.

If it were me, Tim.... I would just get the containers dropped off as close as they can get them to where you want them, then I would work out a way to drag them to where I need them. You have trees around your boundary, I am sure even a chain or straps around trees and endless chain winch can pull the container towards where you want it, even if you have to wait for it to rain.... it is either that or hire a crane or a big mofo tractor to lift or drag them.... just get the containers onto your property as close to the final position as possible.... you can work out how to shift them, where there is a will, there is a way (or relatives fighting, depending on which sort of will)

I would be making wood skids to set them down on, one at each 1/3rd and get the containers put down as they will be finally sitting, then winch or drag sidewards onto their final spot.... it might cost renting 2 tractors for a few hours.... it is only money

what I mean by saying sell it all and saying fuck it, is I really have way to much stuff, that with out a big shop to put it in I don't have room for it. I mean like in greensboro still I have a 12' tall 9' wide roll around engine hoist, I still have over half of my 30' x 25' shop still full of stuff. thinking really will I ever still use half the shit I still have there.

On top of that I have a 2 place Commuter 2 helicopter frame in va. and the Hillman hornet airframe, the 0-320H2AD engine, the Drive train from the Commuter N814S, 2 sets of Blades, seats, and a bunch of other stuff.

when I say fuck it I am thinking maybe I should just sell all of those airframes and stuff, just get My A&P to rebuild the Engine as I could sell it for a nice price to the Airboaters. A lot of Pilots did not like the 0-320H2AD, but the airboat guys love them.

fixing up and going to resell the airboat as when I was at a cook out I over heard some people ask one of the seasoned airboater what he thought I had it the boat, and the price he said was over double what I paid for it.

so that got me to thinking, invest some more into the boat to get it right, detail it out. sell it, sell the other stuff.
and either find a Mosquito air helicopter, or buy a 2 place Gyro project or depending how much I get total a flying 2 place.

As for the Arch Building, that is Cindi's deal, she is going to go ahead and get it and just resell it. cost more then our Budget to put up.
not to mention not even sure a concrete truck could back up to were we need the pad poured.

At this Point Cindi and I are thinking just get 2 -20 foot containers and bolt side by side. if I got a mosquito I would have to cut a small hole in the back for the tail to still into and close it in like a dog house. but it would easyily fit in the container height wise. door opening is only 8'5" tall.

would have to do some research to see what gyro could make it in that door size.

anyway since my former Business partner/cfi had a stroke awhile back. that threw a big monkey wrench into my helicopter plans.

so Only helicopter I can probably fly now would be the Mosquito UL

so anyway, man mission now is to fix up and sell the boat. it's a nice Boat, but I have learned it would not meet our needs for cindi to fish from. have learned they are not good in deep water. have seen many pics of them getting sunk from the wake of other boats.
I almost sunk mine already. and since I can't swim,I have to think, do I really want to have a boat that can take me under.
when I first listed the Forester,I thought I would get a lot more out of it. but at least I got something that I can make some profit on when I resell it.

well I had not planned to flip the airboat, but when myself and Cindi both heard other people commenting about what they thought the boat was worth, I thought you know i would be a fool not to try, I am talking prices mentioned of double what I paid for it. now that said it did have some issues, but i have those just about all taken care of. also going to give it and the trailer a new paint job and install new lights and wires on the trailer. sell it as a turn key boat.

that would go a long way torwards my flying. I mean heck I can't even swim. the test of the boat was an adventure, but it sure was not a relaxing day on the water.
