Transom is too close to the prop therefore the 70% area doesn't apply like it does with the Dominator tail

I would be more worried about the added cyclic fatigue caused by the blanketed area of the tips going from free stream to blocked air.

The excess noise and stress on the Pagio Avanti had hamelton standard issue an AD just for the pusher instlation :bunny

Exactly my point..... as each blade comes down to the pressurised air behind the transom, the blade would be pushed back towards the front of the boat... only 1/8th of an inch or so, then when it leaves the transom it relaxes.... this cycle happening 4000 times a minute, cant be good for the prop.... nor the prop bailing the boat by smashing the water out(with the prop. :eek .. hitting water) :noidea but again, I say, the air being pummelled in behind the transom... the bottom 10" of the prop disk is blanketed on the pressure/blow side, cant be good for the amount of thrust produced.... my bottom drawing should produce more thrust because the transom is no longer impeding the airflow out the back.... I think a gain in thrust, a slight gain in rpm and a reduction of gas burn would be the result of having less prop below the top of the transom.... :noidea does anyone think this is a possibility? :noidea :laughing :laughing :Wolvie

The prop is only about 4" behind the transom....4" back and 10" down.... Animals boat is good, it has the prop above the transom, so it is 100% clear on the thrust side :koolaid :like :pop
