The site is not working. When I fill out the registration form and then hit the register button I get an internal server error. Trying to reserve 31 next to tango victor

I was trying to register using my iPad and it was giving me the server error. I tried from a PC and it looks like I'm registered but now the PayPal payment looks like it's having problems.

It looks like you did register Tim. Server errors are just part of the fun :) As long as you got the reservation your payment can be made up till the event. Mike Bantum was trying to get the same spot! :laughing

Camp sites are filling up nicely. Good sign. I think with all the pre-event drama playing out early on we are on the way to have a nice drama free Bensen Days :boink :rofl

I am probably gonna do this also... Offered to get a site for the PeachState guys for a rental trailer... it did not materialize.

A 'climate controlled' room, with a real bed and a hot shower in the morning... is worth it to me.

John- My favorite was the Best Western just north of Wauchula. Excellent restaurants in Wauchula.

If I were coming down, I would have had my airline tickets bought early December, and my motel reservation by the end of January. The Best Western used to sell out back in my first years of attending Bensen Days when there were more people attending.

THX Stan,

Last time (only time) I attended BD's was 2013... I stayed at the 'workers place' in town, the Tropicana, across from Walmart. Now is that the south or north end of Wauchula, I think it is north... I do have good memories of 'Pauls' restaurant, good old fashioned home style food!
I call it the workers place, as most of the vehicles in the parking lot were late model large PU's and a few small chassis trucks.
The building is OLD... how old... block construction and Terazzo floors. I did get a good rate though, if I remember it was $50/nite.
Room was quiet, bed was acceptable, TV was fine, shower was plenty HOT, even had a small fridge and microwave. Room was cleaned and fresh amenities every evening when I arrived back there.
The Indian (India) couple that ran the place were pleasant to deal with; I think they live in a house behind the place.
The only complaint I had was one morning it was raining when I went to put my stuff in the car (I never leave anything in a room, regardless of the 'quality'... it may not be there when I come back). Otherwise, not a bad 'economy' place.

Will look at options.

THX

John- Sounds like you had a good motel also. I waited too long one year and they were all sold out. I have come every year since 2005....except for 2013 when you came. Just waited too long to get plane reservations in 2013..then decided to order a Sig Sauer Mk25 with my $1000 I saved by not coming down. Going to order another pistol and do the same this year!

I think all SWaRC members had reserved their spots. I'll probably open the reservation for the rest this weekend.

I will post it and market the link by batch emailing to over 10K email addresses.
Also Bro is the a flyer I can market with too?

If so send me all the promotional material you have and PRA volunteers will get on it!!!

John I haven't opened it for the public yet. I will talk to Jon to release them this week end some time. I haven't designed a flyer yet. Kind of busy on the roof.
Just got off the roof right now. I am going to attempt to design a flyer if I don't fall asleep :dizzy
