that white stuff is minimal. A little dusting. and it is nice and warm at present.

Whenever I read your Alberta threads, I always get that Neil Young song, 4 strong winds, start playing in my head :killme :head :dizzy :laughing :laughing So heres, payback.... you have a listen and it might get stuck in your head too :laughing :laughing (What a great song and beautiful pictures to have stuck in ones head, I reckon) :like :pop

Hey, that's what you should call your airpark.... 'Four Strong Winds' :noidea I was also thinking, since you have the area and the camping, you should see if you could start a 'music festival fly/drive in?' might work? Your guest performers can fly in :laughing

.

I love that song too .... Ian Tyson wrote it around 1963 in Alberta and apparently he still spends time at his ranch there

Alberta is like Canada's mini version of Texas .... freedom , oil , cowboy hats , and ranches ... then toward the Rocky Mountains it is beautiful scenery

He has vocal chord damage now and is about 78 , but still did a pretty good job of the song a couple of years ago.

Or are they smart and stay in the hoose next to the heater? What about you Arnie? Is it Hoose or house? :yoda2 :wol2 :Wolvie :laughing :laughing

sjbheisler Cool .... so you have at least 1 gyro around ..... in my area there are zero !!!

MadMuz .... I say Out of the House .... The people who say oot of the hoose are from Eastern Canada , Newfoundland etc ..... mind you most of them come to Alberta to work in the oil patch

I also pronounce gyrocopter as .... guy-row-copter .... I thought everybody did until I talked to Stan a few years ago ... he (and Americans) pronounce it jy-row-copter

They pronounce the G like the J in JAKE !!!

Well, Arnie, that just proves that Canadians are wrong and Americans are right :laughing :laughing :laughing

In :OZ it is about 50-50 half say jai-row and half say guy-row.... as long as there is one to fly, call it what you will.... I don't care (although, dictionaries say 'jai-ru-kopter' just to confuse it more :killme I keep a dictionary oot in the oot hoose (sorry, couldn't resist) :laughing :laughing

Make sure you leave a couple of those old chairs outside .... dont take them all to the dump ..... that way I have something to sit on when I go out for a cigarette and coffee .... put a label on it saying RESERVED FOR PENTECOSTAL HEATHEN WOLVERINES

.

The Pentecostals think I am a Heathen , The Heathen think I am a Pentecostal , and everybody thinks I am Wolverine.

The Mormons see my coffee and cigarette and walk on by , they dont even hand me a pamphlet

The Seventh day Adventists (bless their dear hearts) quit telling me I was going to hell because I observed the Sunday Sabbath instead of the Saturday Sabbath .

I pointed out that when it is Saturday here it is Sunday in Australia so does that mean The Australian Seventh day Adventists are going to hell ??

To make matters even worse I now observe both Saturday and Sunday Sabbaths and now the Adventists dont know what the hell to do with me

Then along comes Jesus and told me there is a little crack in the door to heaven and he will look the other way when I sneak in.

Even if it happens to be on a Wednesday.

Besides I am going to that new private airport in Alberta to get myself blessed , my car blessed , my gyro blessed , my helicopter blessed , so I should be OK

Hopefully there are some powerful Pentecostals there who will also bless my coffee and cigarettes .

That would be a miracle

No worries! Pastor Robert will take care of all of you.
When he baptized me a few years ago, he held me under a bit extra (almost drowned) but he said this old sinner needed a lot of cleansing hehehehe...
We will take care of blessing your smokes, we will even bless the brandy in your coffee!
The good news is that we figured out why I did not die a few years ago when I was supposed to...
The Devil has now a restraining order out against me, so I got nowhere to go. Have to stay here and piss you all off a bit more.
So come on down to CEF6 and get your coffee and have a smoke outside on the picnic table and we will bless the crap out of you :fuckum
