Yep. We do have some very good numbers to show for.
You guys rock. I am very proud of what we have here. Very positive and lots of knowledge You guys are a great bunch. Even though you are just a bunch of racist bigots and I hope nobody finds this place by accident because it is doing an irreparable damage to the sport......... _________________  A walk in the woods helps me relax and release tension. The fact that I am dragging a body should be entirely irrelevant! A simple thank you would have been enough for the morning coffee without all that "how did you get in here" nonsense. |

OK How about looking at it like this ... a simple real-life analogy! There is this big community party going on in a public communal hall - the hosts who paid for the hall rental expect a certain amount of civility & decorum so things don't get out of control! A few rowdies feed off their inner child energies & want to run around un-fettered expressing their rights to free speech ... yada yada ....this creates some discomfort among the mature adult orientated majority & host, resulting in a couple of ringleaders being evicted from the hall & told not to return! They set up a alternate party in the park next door ... still public property ! However the original community party host thinks this alternate in close proximity reflects badly on his community at large & requests some changes   - the result being the alternates move to PRIVATE property - a clubhouse in the woods where they bother no-one & can be as rowdy, obscene & unfettered as they please.  Some curious partygoers from the original communal gathering check it out .... apply for admission to the private property party ... admission is granted by the property owner - or not! Many are welcomed in , some do not enjoy the rough & rowdy atmosphere & leave or just observe from a distance - non participating.  Others who want to check it out but are known to create a LOT of disharmony are denied entry to the now PRIVATE party .... & cry foul  when the bouncer at the door says NO!!! "You can't have your cake & eat it too" comes to mind!  _________________ |

Stan's Helicycle , Gabor's Behemoth, Mike's Anisoptera, John's MH1,Denis S's awesome Hornet ..... Where are the next-gen home builds?????? ... I LOVED these build threads watching projects grow ... problems solved! The new posts are just a few lines ... these days ... used to be 2 pages!!!!  Is this a "JohnGalt" strike on the PC libby atmosphere ... over there?????  Darren ... hoping you got all the good stuff backed up ... I don't understand what happened....its like the heart left from the RWF. Lots of good people there, but the passion is gone. I have few comments about rotorcraft left in me, and the off topic subjects on the RWF get few comments. So....I share hear instead. I know I won't have as much flavor to add, but I like to share my new quieter life . I guess its not quieter after all....my guns are loud! Ha

Just my $0.02...
Management at RWF is not interested in promoting gryo's and rotorcraft... They are interested in promoting themselves. BIG difference... and it shows. Few like to be put down... they will accept it for a short time... then either fight back or leave. And since fighting back gets you banned... well the other option seems to be the trend. ARROGANCE... (on the part of management)... IMO Oh well... things change. I am thankful we have SW... a better place! The thing I like about this forum is that yes, it is about rotorcraft, but no one complains about threads not being totally dedicated to flying and if some threads wander off in all directions....other sites tend to have management and members who get irate if there are too many non flying related threads.... here, you turn on your computer (speaking for myself) and you never know what you will see...
. whether it is flying related or just something stoopid in the humor department, or even serious stuff like politics, or stuff members are just plain proud of (like Stans shooting) ...... I mean, sites limited to only flying threads (mainly) seem to have members waiting, bored, for someone to post something so they can just shoot them down..... whereas here, in between flying/rotorcraft threads, we keep ourselves amused with other shit..... I for one think it is excellent The absence of ego's is quite noticeable here too, we don't seem to have any argumentative types that want to argue just for the sake of it.... people can put poop on each other and no one takes offence, they just give a bit back..... this is just my opinion, if anyone don't agree .... well _________________ I do all of my own stunts..... most of them are even planned!
