I believe they exceeded VFR. Or VBR. COG was off. Went over to the right. Torque roll? Tail heavy. They couldn't keep the nose down. Not enough rudder authority.

It was definitely just a FWATC situation imo.... ( Fuck Wit At The Controls) Definitely the wrong type of boat to have in a situation with breaking waves.... not to mention a bit ham fisted with the throttle.... needed finesse, not full power

Definition of owning a boat: A hole in the water one pours $$$ into... with little return.
IMO in this case... both of the conditions were/will be met.

Seems entry into this class of waste... is less popular... not as many airplanes as boats. Maybe it is because airplanes suck up the $$$ faster??? Especially when they stay in the shop for L O N G times... grin... That plane crash looks like something happened... control issue? Lost lift too close to the ground? I did not see a significant change in attitude, that would probably have happened if it struck the wire... Did I miss that?
