I was gonna suggest talk to Bud O'Neil... He explained it to me a year or so ago... do not remember much... I do remember that it met at Wauchula, then moved somewheres else for a few years, then back to Wauchula... and has been there for a while.

Interview Bud.... give him time to talk... and feed him... :) You may get more than you realize, and it will be worth it. Might take a pocket recorder with you... and transcribe the notes afterwards. :)

As a club member I vote we entitle Gerald as our official events videographer and pay him a fee for his continued AWESOME video's.

I will donate $100.00 to start the ball rolling.

I am running a press. I can't answer phones sorry. We are paying for his staying at the event. You can always donate to the club on the website!

Flying Wolverine thanks so much for the gesture but I am very thankful for the generosity/arrangement I have with Sunstate already. They let me have a nice camping spot and took care of the banquet meal for me.

"So far" I enjoy doing the videos of gyros and trying to promote the sport, Bensendays, etc.. I guess what I am saying is it hasn't become a J O B yet. If anyone wants to help with the process just buy a Gyroplane DVD when they are available.
Although I still have not took the time to make a Bensendays DVD for the 2014 year. If DVD sales can help cover some cost of equipment, supplies, or getting there, etc. I am happy.
I misjudged the audience a little in that I thought more people would have wanted BLURAY DVD than standard DVD. The BLURAY HD version looks so clear on a HD TV and to me the cleaner/clearer the picture the better.

The cool thing is that 10 to 20 years from now as opposed to the old formats, we will be able to watch some of these old Bensendays BLURAY's in HD quality.

Also, at the 2015 event I want to be able to get some air to air gyroplane video. So if anyone knows of someone (hint, hint, Davey, Greg,) who can help me out with that please let me know.

OK in that case put me in for $100.00 of DVD's For Bensen Days 2014 and I will pass them out as promo for 2015 to ppl I encounter and that will work for me.

PM me your address and how many dvd's I'll get and it's a deal.

Thank You! :wol

Hey GyroGeorgia you can find a buddy in Herman Yates. He too was a heating and refrigeration business owner.

Don't mention Disney near him. It sets him off.

Will need to find him and exchange lies about how rich and famous we think we ought to be... LOL

I don't believe Herman owns a computer.
If he does I don't know about it.
