Moving to North Florida in 2014
Author Message
As many here are aware I have 4 acres in North Florida between Tallahassee and Jacksonville I've been sitting on.

If you didn't you do now.

So I am putting my place in Pasco County up for sale and will be moving to set up my new home and gyro port dream property.

As far as SWaRC is concerned there will eventually be a North division of the club and I will be hosting a grand opening fly in when it is ready. Don't hold your breath...it will be at least :2weeks !!!

I have been in contact with the new arrowcopter U.S. rep Jason Macknight and he has informed me the
gyro of my dreams is going to now run me 150k - 180k if I want to own one.

Unfortunately that socked it right out of my world so onto a new beginning and drastic change of plans!!!

Freakin dollars VS the Euro effectively killed that plan!!! Asinine economy!!! Fuck me!!!!

So the 75% of funds saved towards that end + future sale of my home and property in Pasco will finance
the development of my new home and a new gyro runway is now in the works.

Wish me luck. I'm going to get real busy and likely disappear for awhile once I spool up.

Don't cheer and clap just yet....I'll be Back!!! :laughing

Just give gabs some of your money so he can build that sweet machine of his. You get a machine, he builds it. Win win. :die

No doubt.....

That's 3 Dominators or 3 Sport Copters or 2 fully loaded Apollo's and a night in Vegas w/ 3 whores or a helicopter like Stans and gas for a year.

I could probably build an ArrowCopter single seat clone....might just do that instead!

I am really disappointed as I had my heart set on owning one.

Freakin went back to work out of semi retirement and now no deal.

That's fine I suppose...I will just live high on the hog in my new digs and fly my CLT Air Command

which I can finish now without having to sell all my gyro parts I managed to collect after going in 10 different directions while learning about how to build a gyro and pursue my PPL-G.

Unfortunately I have 8 more grueling months left on my employment contract agreement

and it will cost me a good deal of cash if i breach the contract and quit now.

Plus I have never quit anything I was not forced out of first!!! :laughing

Darren- You way over estimated the cost of my Helicycle and fuel for a year. You would still have $100,000 left in the bank if you built it yourself!

But anyway, best wishes to you buying property that will enrichen your life.

Thanks Stan,

You will have to plan a stop over on your way to Bensen Days and maybe I can con you into building
a floating spiral staircase up the tree!!!

That way the tree can grow and the stairs would just kind of need a new step every five years. :laughing

Otherwise I might have to get that Pete guy from TV. Nawwwhhhh I'm a :Cheapass

He's really expensive!!!

Besides that, that paved runway is gunna cost me unless I make it a grass runway.

Just don't want a washed out strip after it pours etc.

And I got 4 dogs and they dig way more then I like.
