 No man is an Island
Author Message
Has anyone ever heard of an Island that can be owned by an individual any where off the coast of Florida that
has a mountain on it or at least a large hill that has with stood all things nature and is still intact after 100 yrs time?

International waters would be a perquisite as well.

I've heard anything on the gulf side was already "OWNED" by drug runners.
You'd be risking disappearing if you "trespassed" on their property.

I'll sell you that.

sure thing...send me the details. don't leave anything out....oh and it has to be big enough to take off and land a gyro on....unless i get one on floats .......

can I grow weed there?

are guns allowed?

OH i just realized there are buildings there already...

I should add it (the island) should be previously unoccupied and uninhabited by human beings.

So, what you're looking for is nonexistent. Good luck. I had the same fantasy until I remembered the tv show.
seriously though, its only as good as your ability to defend it. Got cash?

I have some ole friends in Miami from back in the day before I was forced to choose
long term detention or ship shape out to the military of my choice.

Guess which one I chose?

I'm sure my buddies and bro's can handle the visitors.

The rest will work itself out the way things are going this side of the land mass.

Can you say Zombie Apocalypse.

In any case couldn't be any worse staying put.

Who said anything about hiding...not moi!!

Just want to live by my own rules and make new ones without poly's thinking they know better how to run my life, liberty and and pursuit of happiness.

Can u think of a better reason to disappear in plain sight?

Oh, in that case, you're in the best place for that.......perhaps Antarctica instead? Pack a parka.

And direct your life to be 'under the radar'... so to say.

Thank you for that.

I did not get this in a google search.

I was really not that serious about finding an island and while my motives may not be understood or appreciated I learned much in attempting some humorous if not the ridicules nature of the question posed.

The crickets were getting too frequent in duration and i was bored.

It has been fun though if u consider the humor in the responses...minus yours which was actually genuinely helpful as far as your excellent response in a practical way.

As to hope......I am not hopeful.......for me I see only choices.....good...bad...indifferent......

Life is a party//// play hard and enjoy the scenery as long as you can.

This philosophy is likely why I am attracted to gyro flying and helicopters.

Life is a blur after 50 just like rotor blades.

Ever wonder why the polecats let the oriental folks have their own culture in Chinatown... or other ethnic areas their own way... even when there is crime in the area???

Because as long as these areas are not upsetting the apple-cart of the polecat... he/she does not care.

certain parts of the Appalachia mountain people have rejected liberalism. if you
"TRY" to take away their moonshine business or their gun. you will be shot on site. this is a safe place to move to if you just wanna work for a living
