That dang "working for a living" really cuts into the free time.

When those storms come in is when it would be fun to have a gyro glider you could tie down at the beach.

Yeah. The beach would be a great glider practice either way because the constant breeze. Just a regular day could keep a glider in the air for a long long time!!!!

I was doing a google sat view of Deland, thats a big airport, what area is the club hanger in? looks like a few war birds and some helicopters there also.
looks like a fun place to hang out and watch stuff fly.

Cool, Thanks, I see there is a sky dive center there. seems there is a lot of sky diving in Florida. Cindi has always wanted to try it.... me I don't believe in jumping out of a good flying aircraft... : )

They will take you on a single tandem jump with an instructor for $179. Good way to find out if you like it!!!!
