He's in the UAE setting up a drone factory after the Chinese had milked him for all he was worth. After the jab era he has some health issues & He put on a few tons |

The only drawback was the noise. It was like a giant model glow fuel engine... A screamer |

Can a coax autorotate if the engine stops? Or do they just plummet? What is the engine out (at altitude) procedure Hillbilly? |

Powered by either a special piston Porshe or Solar gas turbine. Gyrodyne in 1997 went to property management and no tooling or spares are available. It does fine autos. Most Coax helicopters suffer from weak yaw control power or yaw reversal Some fixed pitch coax helis are out there and will not auto at all |

A turbine co-ax seems to hit the sweet spot, at least for me. I do not trust e-copters, or anything else which cannot glide nor autorotate. Flying solely by thrust seems spooky. |

Nice guys who knew the limitations of what they made. What killed it was no autorotation and twin power plants that were over worked on single engine flight. Enough to get you down maybe... |
