The new owner and deceased pilot was Martin Pattie: https://www.stuff.co.nz/marlborough-exp ... pter-crash Until this crash, there had been no fatalities in any M912. IIRC, 93% crashes resulted in only zero to light injuries, which is a testimony to its quality parts, rugged design, and pilot protection.
