as he was not injured I can state that this f asshole deserved his fate ... the worst with those stupd pilots is that there is a passenger seat in theirs 120.000 euros gyros ....and the passengers will think he is able to fly a gyro ...

This is by far NOT the stupidest pilot I have seen.
You all probably k ow him and I won't dredge up old news,but suffice to say gyros are more difficult to fly than a Piper Cherokee. This guy learned an expensive lesson, the guy I am thinking of could have killed 3 pax and never even gave it a second thought! Yeaaaa not the worst... |

yep you are right , I should not have chosen this topic title .. but it drives me crazy to see so many pilots doing this ... we had a couple stories like this ...
the risk of flapping the blade at high airspeed and low rotor rpm is a basic thing to know ... It seems impossible for me to forget this ... if it is an error it will have been an expensive error ... |
