Hi. I do hope someone has one and is willing to take a few photos to show how it should be. Can I persuade anyone to show me some pictures of the fuel feed to the electric pumps of a MT-03 with 914 engine? From underneath - from twin tanks to filters and then pumps... As some know, I recently bought an Auto-Gyro MT-03, which had been converted into an MTO Sport by factory people. I have bought new original fuel filters and good quality marine hoses. But the two primary hoses are joined behind the undercarriage bow, and that seems wrong. Then the hoses and filters have to angle forward and really bend too much - for no reason at all. I have the UK Maintenance Manual, that shows it's all in front of the undercarriage bow. But apart from that the picture doesn't show much. (these pictures were taken before I changed hoses and filters) Thanks in Advance, Erik |

Well, I finally made the tube, that connects the two tanks together and feeds the two electrical pumps. It loops back behind and gets attached to the undercarriage brace and the small tubes feed the filters directly in front of the brace. Close to my first attempt at welding (and using the recommended acid) - especially stainless. It's not leaking and seems strong enough... I think it looked better before I started grinding halfheartedly Cheers Erik |

That looks like it came up pretty good I think it would be good to pressure test it to be sure? Just to be certain. Maybe block 3 of the holes and connect a compressor to the 4th hole, then hold it under water? When do you think you will have it ready to fly?... getting ecxiting |

Hum... I have just returned from the airport. The tube fit perfectly - but the tank outlets wouldn't cooperate. They point a bit down, so they need some length to straighten out. I'll have to move the fuel pumps rearward. That'll give them a straight shot at the old tube. I'll build a strong cage for the battery and mount the fuel pumps there. The battery mount wasn't done well anyway. So it was a step backwards but ended with a possible solution. Cheers Erik |
