Don't try that in a super puma  Imagine if the guys in the 30's and 40's who were struggling to invent the heli could see that  The Igors (Sikorski and Bensen) would have been stunned   Very impressive

actually the S-52 was the first helicopter filmed looping at the factory. and Kaman K224 was looping at the Navy test facility before that....  and the only modification is he moved the battery, I don't have 'facebook'

What is that background music?? It sounds like exercises from "Hanon 60 Selected Studies" piano book. For 1949, you'd think they could use some decent jazz or something if they are going to omit the engine sounds. Then too, both Lawrence Welk and Frankie Yankovich were big in 1949, I suppose I should recognize small favors. |

I thought they were bananas to like that stuff ..... I was into Beatles and Elvis and Rolling Stones. Then last winter I was flipping through channels and PBS was playing the old Welk shows .... and I ended up watching one Please dont tell anyone I said that HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

The only 'Welk' I can remember... is 'Welk-ome back Cotter'  I wonder how ling before a full size heli can fly like this?
