Dang those dirt bags must be expensive, to get each one flown in.... You would think a dual axle dump truck load would be easier, but hey if the Gov spending the money..... We used to use furniture grade plywood in the Air Force whenever we needed any to throw under the wheels on the C-130's if they got stuck in the mud, etc...that is all they would buy. |

So technically we are "capping" with clean dirt from the bottom of the delta all of the slough and trenches running through the salt marshes because they have high levels of heavy metals like copper and arsenic. These marshes are protected wetlands and the Salt Marsh Harvest Mouse resides there. Apparently, the Mouse Unions petitioned the US Govt to take care of theyre marsh homes and the govt figures, we cant save anybody in Syria, so lets save these mice. |
