What's your little light, blinkie, buzzy thingy mean ? Is that your imminet death warning light ?
Pretty much......it sez ya going down faster than normal approach In helicopters when the needles separate (meaning the rotor is freewheeling) it alerts you with both visual and sound giving you a chance to drop your collective so the blades won't stop spinning. It's really not like you can't tell as your stomach is entering your throat in an event of engine failure....

Good job!!!! Yep when it happens for real it's quite different...... Mine came at night. Pitch freaking dark. My 3rd flight as a CFI. I am still wiping my butt from just thinking of the event. Yep I too did shit myself alongside with the student! LOL....

I was fired. The only one time in my life ever. I don't do too well when I am told how to do my job when I am the best you have! Even if you happened to own the school. Makes no difference at all. Don't fucking push me. And that's pretty much it. I am an arrogant asshole. But I am a LIVING arrogant asshole. Dead arrogant assholes worth nuttin'!

It is hard to stop them exactly across the cabin and glide down like a fix wing. It gets very difficult to glide with this blades pointing nose to tail. You have to glide side ways. Makes you airsick.
