That was awesome :koolaid can you imagine what people thought when they saw one of those in the 20's or 30's for the first time :eek :what :laughing :laughing

Is that how the motor is supposed to sound? Or did it have an issue with one cylinder? It looks to me like they have fitted some sort of muffler to each cylinder? Maybe one they couldn't get a muffler on? It sounded like it revved to about 1000rpm :rofl

Did the original have a pre-rotator? Seems I remember something about it being capable of jump launch... or was that another?

Pitcairn started by building Cierva machines under license.... he actually discovered prerotation before Cierva.... basically, the 'student' surpassed the master :laughing
