Truck willing ... here I go ... been a crazy 2 weeks getting ready .... picture is a composite from our Chap 88 EAA meeting last Sat ... just back from Propwash with the cranky truck & toyhauler ... with my red Aussie Titanium ... but I have to take the yellow one ..as no time to A/W the red one! Switched to the longer rotor ...for Mentone flying & will test the 6 blade E prop ...( supposed to give 914 TO power off to 912 engine!!) |

Standard TAG rotor is 27'4". Jim's one was 28' ... I was so envious of Danny's huge lift ( he also got a 28'-er) in Florida ... I requested the 28' with my Aussie tourer ... with the full fuel, full cargo pods & back seat ... I was Very happy with the performance flying around OZ! .... quick check flight yesterday before packing up ....on the yellow one ...WOW .... good winds & crazeee lift! |
