Road trip to B-DAYS 2014 Convoy of a life-time!

This year I'm bringing at least my Genesis G1sa and maybe PRA31's (with their permission, and if finished) G2sa 2-place with IO320 Lyc.
I hope most of the PRA31 members will go so should not be a problem. So why not rent one or more truck & trailers and convoy picking up rotorcraft and load them on the trucks and folks in car from California to Florida following in one or more cars?   And.. I'd like to fly at least part of the way too? We would have at least one chase car with an empty trailer? What do you think? Any takers tentatively sign up here, for research #'s and the route needed to pick you up, right now so I know how many trucks we will need?? It's a party, it's a party, it's going to be a traveling, camping, hoteling, fast food and (ladies if ya find them), flying party!!!!!!  I hope sharing expenses will reduce the cost to the lowest possible so everyone can afford to go while providing safe transport and a party across the USA! Step 1 ......... NO more endless WINDY days in KS = LOTS of flying practise! Feb ===>
Step2 ... Desmon gets CFI back to sign next 90days & review prep for DPE test! Step 3.... get to Ron's in March & PASS!!!!  Step 4 ...... OZ'rora reliable enough long XC ..... 7hrs KEWK to Anahuac (T00) ... 10.5 hrs T00 to Wauchula no wind factor!!! Great flying weather at right time for the flight to BD's!!!!!  HELLAVA LOTTA "IF's " ... still nice to dream!!!!  Why am I SO skeptical??????   _________________  |

Does anyone know if this thing is now officially called off? I have a few emails asking about it...... I don't know what the official word is.

Looks as if as John 's time is spoken for being by his ailing brothers' side! Sounds like time beat progress on the Genesis project also!
No noise from the SD contingent ... starting out! My guess is it's withered on the vine with the prime-mover sidelined! Sunday early...( GW & the creek don't rise) the Toevs team PU/camper/gyro trailer will depart Anahuac ....
