There is a thread here with a list of the presentations he will show and then anwser questions at our fly-in's. They have always been at hit!!

I'm so pleased to announce that we have vetted another Forum Expert for your learning enjoyment.

Dr. Bruce Charnov PRA's famous rotorcraft historian has graciously offered to teach and entertain us with videos, slide presentations of everything rotorcraft.

I have seen many, not one the same, at Chapter 31 club meetings as he is a member of our club and I've seen everyone at fly-ins across the country enthralled learning the "Rest oft the Story" regarding world famous aviators with quotes from family members of personal information only Dr. Charnov can share because he is the only one who ask them in person. The personal letters, contracts and other items of famous aviators is truly amazing and the provide insight into history few will understand as well as we all may now.

This is going to be a fun forum and BLOG soon he will be posting a time line of our history and you may choose any topic, aircraft, company, or person and he will anwser things we all never knew in those blogs that any member would like to know.

This is all just happening and Bruce has many ideas and will take it from here.

If you have any ideas regarding this or other topics you would like to see you only have to ask and your wish it the BOD command; if we can!

PRA BOD!!!

Come see the show after the holidays... http://www.PRA.org

That would depend on your definition of terms?

I've seen a humming bird hover in all directions without wind. Adding having total control in all directions without wind I would have to say no.

But I've seen them hover if you mean it in the strict sense of the word!!

What definition of hover we are using would determine my anwser in this case?

I'm going to hover one day too in a gyro!!!

I am not expecting total contact in every direction just into the wind or hang on my prop into the wind again?
