I'm in Columbus GA for my son Brian's wedding tomorrow. Brian is a Ranger Instructor at Ft Benning Ranger Training Brigade. This morning he took us to a Ranger Graduation ceremony to watch the Ranger Demonstration! RANGERS ROCK |

When I was at Ft. Benning NCO school in 1968 I got to spend a week with Rangers. It really prepared me more for Vietnam than anything else. The physical training was a bitch but the calling in air drops, artillery, explosives and map reading was a lot of fun. The rangers have no dummies amongst their ranks. |

Yeah, they (the dummies) are all too busy trying to run/wreck the country The army is a lot better now than it was when I was in. Back then there were too many dummies which I attribute to the draft. There were people that should not have been allowed into the ranks. |

It must be sooooo hard for the military these days... to be such good people, well trained, practiced, versatile.... then have to salute the dipshits in charge Especially saluting the traitor within |

The military ranks have had politicians and PC officers that set rules of engagement that kill our men and women. Instead of prosecuting our troops I would go after the pols that set stupid rules. |

Very cool! Ooh Rah! My cousin's husband is a ranger, 5 or 6 tours over in the sandbox, he loves what he does, but hates all the PC shit that gets people killed! My son in the Air Force could not get leave to come home, they are so under staffed that they cannot let anyone off for a week. Still have to support the same mission, but people are not being replaced. Don't get me started on the politicians and their desire to use the military as a social experiment....... Congrats to your Son! |
