I cant believe another Memorial Day is here. I was going to let my dad fire the cannon that I restored....but he took a fall and scruffed his face and hands just minutes before the cannon firing. I had my GoPro taped to the monument......so I went ahead and fired the cannon. Dad is 93 and a proud WW11 veteran.

I salute you dad.....and mom....I know you are smiling down on us. I made that spiral stairway that I place on her grave every year....plus the plaque I found with that "if tears could build a stairway" poem that you can read on it.

Thanks to all the veterans whose efforts make out way of life much better .

that is awesome stan. I been hearin cannons fire off quit a bit today. there was a civil war between the braton family in the area where I live. its called brattonsville now I have found a few harmonica reeds but I have yet to find any old bullets in the area with my metal detector! we got along so good we never fired a shot, no that could never happen!
