I'm amazed at how many people don't take their critters flying! they love flying as long as they know you are near them. my dog is too old and there is no way my cat will tolerate a cage. liberals will cry animal abuse! I beg to differ! :)

When I was in high school I took my sister and my dog flying once .
At some point in time the dog had had enough and wanted out of that plane.
I couldn't get back to the airport and on the ground fast enough.
I have since taken my dogs flying but it was always in a pet carrier.

you were way ahead of your time my friend, my daddy was trying to convince me that I could have been a pilot with all the money I spent on model planes. high school was a very unpleasant experience for me being a short kid that got picked on by libs. I could have litterally beat that $hit out of them but I wanted to do the right thing. looking back on things I would have preferred to knock the libs out and get homeschooled after the suspension.

I took a cat in a car once .... I will never do that again !!!!
Of course I put it in a cardboard box and closed the flaps , because that is what everybody told me to do.

I put the box in the back seat and the cat started going nuts before the car was even moving ... I have never heard so much screeching and clawing and pandemonium in my life .... the box was literally bouncing around all over the seat

I only had to go 5 miles so I booted it down the highway as fast as I could .... half way home the cat had destroyed the box and started a racetrack pattern all around the inside of the car .... across the dash , over my left arm and shoulder , into the back window and back around to me again.

By the time I pulled over to the shoulder I was bleeding all over and was lucky I didn't lose an eye .

It gets even worse .... even though I had stopped the car ... the cat didn't stop ripping around , it was like a skill saw flying in circles ... I managed to grab the cat , got out of the car , but by then that friggin cat had sunk all his claws and teeth into my arm and wouldn't let go , when I tried to pry his feet off me he would bite my hand right to the bone , I had to sit on the edge of the ditch perfectly still , for 5 minutes before that friggin cat let go of its death grip on me and he ran off into the woods.

I had a lady customer bring her car to my body shop .... she had smashed up the whole front end .... turns out she had her little dog riding in the car , and it had crawled under the brake pedal.

Coming up to a red light she stepped on the pedal and it was crushing the dog .... so in a split second she decided to release the brake and run into the car in front of her rather than kill her puppy.

Years ago Flying Magazine had a story about a couple of pilots who were hired by a zoo to transport a mountain goat from south America. It was in a metal cage made from chain-link fencing. They strapped it down behind the pilots seats and took off

Halfway back to the US the ram started pounding his horns on the cage and by the time they landed it had stretched and deformed the cage so bad it had come between the front seats and was hitting the dash.

When I was at the Buffalo Airways Hangar in Hay River NWT a bunch of husky sled dogs came off a DC3 , they all went over and pissed on the tailwheel , 10 minutes later the pilots were doing a quick walk-around check before the next flight and it was funny as hell to watch them sniff and taste that strange fluid leaking from the back of the plane . :)

Trouble is , maybe the cat likes you Jim !!!!

When it finally released its death grip on me , it headed in a southerly direction ..
... which of course is toward Kansas .

Beware of Canadian pussy lurking around your barns
You can identify them because first they say ... "I'm sorry" ...

... and then they try to kill you !!!!!!
