What's your favourite? For me I like the owen dull cabin, the kruza and UFO cabins from NZ are mint, but the best ever got to be the groen hawk, i think it looks like the gyro baby of a bell jetranger. Wish there were more cabs with the curves like that

Based on looks alone, I am gonna have to go with the AC-20 Arrowcopter. And of course I am partial to my gyro. The cross between jet black, carbon fiber and bright yellow is stunning to this day!

the DTA Jyro was really good looking in my opinion : it is terrible to think that the DTA factory after having been bought by a Chinese company bankrupt ... It is true that the arrow copter was really nice too Gyroblazer, are you planning to build an enclosure ?

Yes - the yellow one cruised at 148 mph in a dive hit 184 mph the black one is a refinement [speed speed aerobatics] My contribution to aviation was the Jet Exec - I gave the design to Dave & Walt at Kiss Aviation who made the kits. It all started with the Rotor Mouse and a Napkin during lunch at Bobs Café Corona Airport

I love the exec rotor head system ... I even tought of coying it to try to make the michel cros regulator .. we have an exec in the next hangar, it has a boat engine .. it works whell and the guy even traines people on it here are the homemades of our hangar on the left (the blue one) this is the most protective "enclosure" it was possible to smoke in it , my mate could fly it hours and hours without getting cold even in winter the white one was also fairly protective it had a bmw flat twine engine which stopped in flight because of a corrupted fuel tank the red one is mine, it's enclosure is ok but the throttle is not protected, I have to wear a glove one the left hand in the winter the enclosure give it a good 120km/h cruise speed at 5800 rpm the last on the right had no enclosure, it's cruise speed with the same engime was 90 km/h ... it crashed because an engine failure .... my mate had forgoten a screws in the gear box ...he did a vertical autorotation on above a field ... trouble is that he wend backward, the gyro turned 180° and landed vertically .. my mate walked away with small injuries I think it is worth mounting a small enclosure to fly in the winter and to fly 30 km/h faster

Not at the moment but in the future yes It was a dark wet rainy day out on the station oneday and I heard an chopper so I ran outside and saw the neighbors R44 cruising past in the rain. Thats where I got the idea to have a roof cabin so I can keep dry and still fly in those conditins especially if i have no choice flying on a 2000km trip or something. I dont wanna euro factory made gyro tho I like homebuild bolt together machines the best

I agree with you that bolted frames are a good thing (because it easy to repair !). as for the roof cabin the main issue is to fing a stock windshield which can be found in the future in case you brake yours My friends having DTA jyros have this problem , because in case the brake their windshield thet won't be able to buy an other one ..because DTA went bankrupt .. I also think it is more then dangerous to build a cabin roof with flat plexiglass windshield... some have trieds in france and they crashed .. (big nose down drag momentum)
