Been very busy the last three weeks finishing installing 2 stairways.....Now I am back in the stairshop for several months straight.....no deadlines....just cutting. bending and gluing.

Immediately after Bensen Days on Monday thru Thursday I will be having another curved stairway building seminar in my shop.

One of my last students went back to Boston and is now building curved stairways for a living and doing very well at it.

So.....with the before and after business arranged......its time for Bensen Days.

My flight is non-stop and will land in Orlando on Thursday morning...the 27th, at 10;25 a.m.

Gordon here has kindly offered to pick me iup and take me to Bensen Days. Thank you Gordon. Please don't forget that anything you want that night at Solomans Castle is on me.

Looking forward to seeing everyone that makes to to Bensen Days.

Solomans Castle is still open? I heard a rumor it had closed.

That is one very unique experience.

Ray- I hadn't heard that about Solomans Castle. Hopefully it is still open. If not, there are other nice steak places.

I'm looking forward to Bensen Days!!!!!!! I live 2 hrs away, have known about it for 3 years, haven't been yet. Now that I have been to Wauchula I will not miss it!!!!!!!

Everything is on for Thursday trip to Wauchula with a stop at Orlando International to pick up Stan!!.

I've never been to Solomons Castle, looks like an interesting place according to their web site. It says dinner only on Fri & Sat or other nights for groups of 20 or more (have to make arrangements).

Had a great get together yesterday with Davie, Jeff, Larry, Bernice at Viking Aircraft Engine and had lunch at Merk's.Great food!!! We ended up at my place afterwards and had a jolly good ole time. Bensen Days is going to be the same only on a much larger scale. I can't wait! See ya'll here. As for Solomon's Castle.....It is still open of course.

Tim- That one Bensen Days with the jumping Nissan will never be topped. God, that chain of events could not have been scripted any funnier.

Tim- Remember your "white line fever' moment when John lit up a cigarette....and you immediately started repainting the center line with vomit

OMG....I thought I was going to lose it.....and you were out the window.

Then there were those cockroaches, at that whoremotel.......wow.......

yes I gave Orlando, something to remember me by...lol and I didn't lose my hat..
How about that crack head that followed john into his room? that was kind of creepy even by my standards. yeah those where some big cock roaches. My lizard I use to have would have loved them for a snack. don't forget the EMS across the street. I don't think we found the best place to stay the night.... eek.
