Just found this video on youtube, a different way to track your rotor blades. Carefully does it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPn6vdgnjW0 |

back when I had my Super J-2 at Farrington's for some work, we had to re-track the blades. They had a 12 foot pole that looked like a big Q-Tip with the outer layer being wrapped in masking tape. we put a red, yellow, blue line on the outer edge of the blades with a grease pen, then spun up the blades. I was the lucky one that got to stand outside with the stick and slowly bring it into the blades that were spun up to near full RPM and just barely touch the blades. Had to do that procedure several times until all colors were lined up in a single line. |
