photos attached from scenes of Mad Max 2, of two future gyro legends from the Broken Hill area.

Tim, post a picture of you in your black vinyl suit when you were an extra on the 'baddy' side. :D
Tim and Jacko also drove their stock cars leaving the compound in the movie.

Esteemed rotor blade and propeller manufacturer, Gerry Goodwin was the gyro pilot. The “film” bought the gyro from Gerry then said to him “we start shooting in a week, can you show one of our stunt men how to fly it?” Gerry just laughed then offered to fly it for them (for a fee).
Dave (jacko) Jackson in the first pic, centre left behind Mel, and I’m behind Warrior Woman in the second Pic.

It opens for me Tim.
I had a quick look on YouTube for a section of the movie when you and Jacko drove your cars out of the compound but could not find a clip.

Gerry Goodwin told me that there were actually 3 gyros used (or a couple of rebuilds) in the movie.... one got landed on a road and a rotor hit a sign post and they gyro destroyed itself.... then, the crew were towing the gyro on a trailer to the shoot one night, they got there and the gyro was no longer on the trailer... it was 200km back at a cattle grate...

Did you hear about any of that shenannagans going on Tim?

BTW Tim, We packed the gyro news tonight... :yoda2 :Wolvie
