have some good running motorcycle engines too that would make excellent low weight strong engines for aviation. As soon as they are stripped their built-in trans weight of course. Has anyone ever looked at making them a fix ration and remove the rest of the gears? |

It has been done, but the whole sled engine thing just works out better. There are some euro companies doing some conversions.. https://www.aerovfr.com/2017/07/vija-ai ... repreneur/ problem is the transmission of course. |
