Merry Christmas folks.
I had a beautiful short flight to Lake Woodruff yesterday. Did a few glassy water landings. Check out in the video around 2:45, and see if you can detect when I actually touched down( before settling in to the water).
The video stabilization in the new GoPro 7 is impressive, I'd love to see how it does in smoothing out the video in a gyro.

Nice landing. You picked up that baby pretty quickly on three zero if you were that high by the 5!!!!
Sweet!

Thanks Muz. She flies nice. I have a Bahamas trip planned with the crowd from Aircam in mid-February. The floats have had some major issues the last year requiring repairs and reinforcement of the cross struts into the floats, new aircraft grade fly wires to replace the shit that were originally supplied, and just two weeks ago had to do a 3 wheel landing because the front left actuator went on the fritz. So the jury is still out on the amphibious floats, hopefully I've got the issues sorted out. The aircraft itself has been perfect thanks to Phil's perfectionist building skills.
I have a couple of .mov files that Larry took from his gyro of me landing and taking off from water. I don't know how to upload them here. The attached pic is from the first flight.
