The 3 movies were a pale ghost of the meaty book content - an impossible task ...which took far too long to come to the screen... they did hit the most important points ... but impossible to do the book justice!
SO GLAD you enjoyed it Marc ... it's a fabulous book that I have read at least once every decade of my life since my 20's!!! ...always getting more out of it ... last full reading was when America lost it's plot & elected the Ovomit O'Bummer!
I have REALY enjoyed audio books to while away the long hours I spend driving the gyro-gypsy wagon all over the country!
Agreed ... TV has no interest for me .. nothing worth watching anymore!
