So I FINALLY took a few hours off from the shop floor. I gave the ENCO it’s first bath in a long time. Purple Power. Amazing. And I know about dilution afterwards. This was a “first cut”. Plugged the 110 in. The DRO worked insanely accurately. The power feed is cool, has a ‘Rapid’ switch! Now I need to get a 50’ hunk of 10ga to throw some amps to her. |

Thanks Gab! I’m looking forward to future projects. The next piece is the 4 ft X 18 in Enco lathe of the same vintage, from the same owner. It’s already earmarked for me, but it’s a slow process to acquire it. |

Had steel carved out of each eyeball more than once over the years. Sucks. You can see the eyeball denting in as they dig out the slivers. The coarse carbide burr on steel is lethal. Now ARC FLASH is arguable worse. Kind of like carb cleaner and beach sand in your eyes for 18 hours. |

Funny, When I don't ware safety glasses I can be exploding chips & bits and nothing gets even close to my eyes, But slip on those safety thingies and I'll get everything in my eyes bugs, bits, chips, grits, oils, solvents and whole tools, even stuff from another room!
