So I have been wanting to keep the power company from my pocket. I decided to try Solar. I went to Ebay and figured out how to start.
First do we want on demand power also known as Grid Tie? Or Battery backup? Or in my case both!! I made a video on the Grid Tie side and am working on the video on the Battery side using high out put UPS units to power critical things like the fridge. I found 2 1000 watt used UPS units for 120.00 and hooked them to 3 large battery's this will power my fridge for over 24 hrs in the dark,
This did require 2 separate solar setups. One tied to the grid at about 200-300 watts and a 100 150 watt charge panel for the deep cycle battery unit.

I hope you like it!!
