One of the things I figured out about winter Olympic games a long time ago... it is not as much about skill... as attracting the attention of the judges. One country one year... was very conservative with their outfits... yet their skaters were superb... and they went home with ZERO medals. Go figure. It is a shame... but it is what it is. |
