I use Chromecast on all of my TVs.
Works fine. I stream everything.
Mostly foxnews on youtube!

OK I do not have regular TV, just netflix through the internet...on a DVD player...with no browser.. So I wanted to watch stuff on the computer, like anything that you can watch on the computer But i want to be able to watch it on the large screen TV.. So not wanting to buy a "media center" computer, or computer stick, or bla bla bla, But I want to be able to use my computer too.. I found a little deal that splits monitors, so I can use the computer and Mama can watch a movie on Hulu, Amazon prime, reruns on youtube whatever...kind of like an external graphics card thing. Nice !! I love my MeegoPad though. It does it all and only 100 bucks. Cast to smart T.V.'s wireless. Get any T.V. show or anything else on the net. Comes with Linux, Win 8.1, Win10 or duel boot with Win 10 and Linux I don't like the Android OS, kinda sucks. You are turning into a High Tech Red Neck !! |

I don't have a smart TV.... That is why I had to patch it through the computer.. The DVD player only has netflix and a bunch of other useless things loaded on it, it does have Pandora, and we use that, but no browser so that's it. same with a roku player only what it is loaded with nothing else. I was going to get a meego thing computer stick like Jake has, but I just bought a new used much faster computer, so I didn't want to buy another computer just for the TV... Remember the old days when you could turn on the TV and in about 10 seconds you could decide there was nothing on worth watching, and then go do something else? |
