Yeah, that is a good idea... Cars that run propane could benefit from cooled inlet too.... I do a bit of auto air conditioning still, and my gas of choice is propane (what we call Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) ... LPG is the best air conditioning gas because it loses its heat so well when it expands... so an LPG car has high pressure liquid gas in the trunk... and somewher in the engine bay, it goes thru a converter to vapour... this converter normally freezes, so has to have water plumbed thru it.... they should make some sort of intercooler or heat exchanger where the gas expands and suck the cold air into the motor inlet manifold...
