The guy I bought it from flew it to me, 120 mile trip, He took me for a ride in the plane, it fly's real nice, then we stuck it in the hangar and I drove him home, still working on the sign off, no training for the last couple of weeks because of funky weather etc. Hopefully I can get up there next week, and the week after.
It needs some TLC, but it fly's fine, the engine, HKS 700 only has 167 hours, My instructor has over 1000 hours on her HKS. It should be fun.

Hey, I have one of those. Good little radio. I particularly like the built-in 2-place intercom. I had it in the Bulldozer, but pulled it for the Tango 2.

By the way, I saw Scott on the day of his airplane delivery. His grin was so wide that he had to be careful not to lean back or his head would fall right off his neck.

Congratulations, Scott! "May the planet never rise up to smite thee."

Yes I stopped by the Cedartown skunkworks, (Russian secrets) that seems to be the home of the howlin' growlin' Yamaha powered machines for sure.

Thats great Scotty....

All you need to do is compartmentalise your training...

Dont forget your gyro training and responses... learn your new plank training and responses to stalling etc... and for every hour you do flying the plank, make sure you do an hour in your gyro too.

When you are not flying, in your mind analyse the differences.... and when flying one, make the right response for that one... but think how that response is different from the other.

Some people just fly both and dont think about the differences at all... it can become a bit blurres in what responses they use. I think that if someone is always thinking about the different responses in different machines, they will be more likely to make the correct 'split second response' for the craft they are in right now...

The biggest no-no's you can really do between the 2 of them is letting the plank get too close or below its stall speed, and letting the gyro get any negative G ...

Way to go bro :like :koolaid :yoda2 :Wolvie

Making plank flying great again... :maga
