Now for something completely different,. I always get to see cool stuff when i go fly, from tornado touchdown tracks, Horse farms, motocross tracks, all the cool stuff, but it is always interesting when I see aircraft,
Here are a few of the abandoned relics close to me.

Very Cool Elwood. I always thought if someone found a junk Cessna 150 and mounted it on a small carousel, it would make a great weather vane. :-)

Im sorry but that weathervane at a non towered airport seems pretty dumb to me.....
Your crossing over midfield to enter pattern with no tower, you are new to the area and you look down and see an old yellow plane below you making a bee line for the run way.

Pobably not going to cause an accident, but surely not the best idea.....

It's in Oregon where weed is a legal recreational item and tannerite is sold at the local gas stations. The windsock plane is closer to the highway than the runway. I'm sure some drivers going by feel they've been "buzzed ". But still a valid point if they were located near normal flight operations and not in the middle of nowhere.
EDIT: I recently spent two weeks traveling between Portland and Grants Pass by car along I-5. There are many public use, paved with fuel airstrips along this route. Most are less than 20 miles between them. I should have not said "middle of nowhere" since almost any gyro of even limited range could travel this path safely. It is almost all flat farm land and the airstrips are never more than two miles from the highway. And I apologize to any pilots who live and fly this beautiful part of our world.

I had to laugh today, since you mention Trump supporters....

A frind from another forum (R/C) is visiting from New Zealand... only a few miles from here.... he is visiting his sister and Bro-in-law, anyway, his sister came in and she has an American accent, I asked where the accent was from, she said Chicago!! :ugeek: I asked her if that was the same Chicago they want to dice up among the other states because it is self destructing? :laughing She said Chicago wasnt the actual problem, she said it was all of Illinois? so anyway, I asked what she thought of Pres Trump getting in :noidea and I was saying at least they managed to get rid of Obuttfuck...

Anyway, she immediately started waffling on about 25 million Americans losing health care and how unfair it all is.... to which I said, "yes, but at least Obummer finally got gotten rid of" and then while she was trying to answer.... I said "And Michael"

She said... "Who is Michael??" and I said Michael Obummer, Obutphucks boyfriend....

Funny, she didn't speak to me after that? :noidea :laughing

I can see what y'all are up against tho.... they dont care how much good President Trump is doing... they just hate him?

It sure was fun annoying her tho :laughing :trup :yoda2 :Wolvie

Making putting shit on democraps great again :maga
