I notice extreme lack of urgency with most people. We are in grave danger and I am afraid Ovomit will either try something or something will be tried upon us.

Putin doesn't stutter, he doesn't need a teleprompter and rehearsed sound bites like our enemy-in- chief uses.

Our economy is just being artificially propped up and is just s trigger from the biggest collapse ever....and Putin could easily set that trigger off and he knows it.

I started a thread the end of 2013 in the secret section titled "Our greatest threat to aviation".

I felt pretty much alone with my opinions, and decided I wouldn't say much as I was becoming apparently a "pessimist doomsdayer". You yourself Henry basically poo pooed what I said and came back with "gravity" as being the biggest threat to aviation. Its one of my major reasons I cashed out on my Helicycle....and haven't even regretted that decision one second...yet really enjoy seeing people as yourself enjoying flying different types of aircraft while this threat still looms over us even greater.

On top of that the biblical connections with all this ...well, I seldom touch on that anymore. Its going to be the biggest deception the world has ever known.

I would rather be thought a fool, and prepare for what I know is coming with certainty.

My own family rolls their eyes and I have told Barbara to just keep quiet......and someday I will be helping them survive.....but with one huge " I told you so" overture.

I am not a big believer in religious prognostications.
When you posted that, Trump and Hillary weren't the drivers in a clown car of silliness and Putin wasn't moving S400 missiles.
The US Navy wasn't firing missiles at Yemen in a proxy war with Iran at the same time they were paying them Billions in ransom money.

A lot has changed in just a short while.
I still don't believe the economy is going to collapse instantly...we have been living in a false economy for decades. Our money has value as long as we the people believe it does. They are the ones constantly pushing for changes to our weapons and tactics....to stay ahead? Maybe, but Putin is right, if we use Sub based ICBMs to launch conventional missiles how can the Russians be expected to know they are conventional?

The biggest reason for ripple effect mining is just plain physics. If you start at the edge of a rock formation..blast and then sequential detonations away from the original one, it takes much less energy to blow rock that has one side loose.

Same with blowing a multi story building from the top down with many small explosives rather than one huge one at the base. The terrorists failed to blow the WTC the first time because of not enough power in the basement explosion.

Yes , I understand and have been schooled in the proper technique for ripple firing a cast or overburden shot in a quarry situation. These are not the only types of quarry demolition techniques used. Coal mines don't generally use millisecond delays to break out underground coal deposits....

The reference I was making was to the fact that after the SALT II treaty it was AGREED that large shots would be limited (20,000 tons?) to using millisecond delays so the seismology sensors on the other side of the world would register a sustained shock wave and not singular ignition point.

I watched the video. Putin is obviously smarter than most. However, I think that he spins things in his favor just like our government spins things in our favor. They ALL lie. The truth probably lies between what he says and what our government says.
