Post subject:  VIDEO EDITOR
I am new to this stuff. Have 2 hours of video using a POV camera recorder while flying the gyro. It came with the gyro BUT I did not get any editing software. Probably would not know what to do with it but want to cut some of the boring stuff out and shorten the clip.
What is the recommended software?

If you have a computer with windows 7 or higher, Windows movie maker is already on there, super simple and it will handle HD video.

If you have windows XP it will not do the HD format.

Easy to use and cheap!

If you need a more powerful editor on an older machine, i have had good luck with "power director" editor it was about $80.
But still simple to use.

Some editors you have to be a real computer geek to use them.

Finally got it to download and started to play with it.

You should be able too look up tutorials on you tube.

If you have an Apple computer they have their own software also.

I use movie maker from windows. It does the job. Sometimes it needs a plugin here and there to be downloaded but other than that it does a very decent job. And it saves a manageable file size too. :plike
