Those wacky Czechs, they have gone and built a 2/3 scale L-39 albatros with a ducted fan and BMW engine, actually pretty cool. http://www.avweb.com/videos/Video-Skyle ... 116-1.html https://www.flyer.co.uk/czechs-debut-mi ... r-at-aero/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lct_kxY8R_I |

Neat. Even if I was into airplanes I still wouldn't buy one that has a serial number "A" ..... you kind of wait till it reaches the "K" series 200.000 euros? I don't know about that.... |

The concept is very cool, I mean how cool would it be to have a 2/3 scale f-15 that you could fly around in, that didn't suck 23994784779 gallons of Jet-A per hour, and that you could fly lower than 36748 ft MSL... Just sayin, I would never be able to afford either but still cool. |

Real L-39's are cheap to buy for what they are, but they cost about $1000-$1400 per hour to operate. http://www.trade-a-plane.com/search?mak ... e=aircraft |
