Those wacky Czechs, they have gone and built a 2/3 scale L-39 albatros with a ducted fan and BMW engine,
actually pretty cool.

Neat. Even if I was into airplanes I still wouldn't buy one that has a serial number "A" ..... you kind of wait till it reaches the "K" series :rofl

The concept is very cool, I mean how cool would it be to have a 2/3 scale f-15 that you could fly around in, that didn't suck 23994784779 gallons of Jet-A per hour, and that you could fly lower than 36748 ft MSL...

Just sayin, I would never be able to afford either but still cool.

Real L-39's are cheap to buy for what they are, but they cost about $1000-$1400 per hour to operate.
