Thanks guys.
Andreas if you are still getting error messages check to see if you are maybe behind firewall or something of that source.
I have no idea why you are getting it.

Had it happen a couple of times , usually late at night , figured it was just the server updating or something because a few minutes late it would work.

Also your site could have shut down to protect itself from hackers , some major stuff going on in the last couple of days ... the huge website for Coast to Coast AM was offline all last night and they cant figure out why.

He had gun rights advocate John Lott as a guest
At least the radio part came through on our local station.

I am the same as Hillbilly... occasionally I get an error page or the page wont load :killme

But I just say the magic words....

"Come on Nabs you :bitch :ultragay well hung-arian :beefcake :Cheapass mofo....what the phuck are you doing?"....

then have another go at opening the site and it usually works :noidea :like

So, I suggest people learn those magic words and use them regularly :laughing :rofl :chainsaw

Works for me :noidea :ugeek: :pop :wol2 :Wolvie

That looks to be the error you get when someone is trying to hack the SQL database for your server. PHP has some pretty good protection against that stuff (hence the error), but people still try to embed strings in messages that can crash or open up a SQL server. Some folks have nothing better to do, I guess.

There is an old joke among (old) SQL server database administrators that illustrates embedded SQL hacks:

SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR: Mrs Jones...mother of Bobby Jones?
MRS. JONES: Yes, this is Mrs. Jones and yes, my son is Bobby.
SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR: Is it true that your son's full name is, "Bobby; DROP TABLE STUDENTS; Jones?"
MRS. JONES: Why yes. My husband is a SQL programmer and thought it'd be a hoot.

As a programmer that cracks me up... Good one Jon!!!

But to explain it to non-programmer. The "DROP TABLE STUDENTS" can be recognized as a command to delete the "Students" files. all of them so no record of grades.

Well Andreas was kind enough to e-mail me the origin of the error messages.
iPad's own emojis create the problem.
So if you are apple user just use the icons we have and all will be fine.
Thanks Andreas for the solution.

Thanks Jake. The last few days I have had nothing but problems. If I try to respond to something, it comes up with a line saying 'I don't have permission' and I am not logged in, so I log in and try it again... but as soon as I try to post, I am not logged in... only this site tho.... prolly someone we know :ultragay has sent something to disrupt the forum because we don't :half him? :noidea :laughing :yoda2 :pop :Wolvie

I promise nothing was changed on this site.
It is way too simple to even change a damn thing on it....
Stan used to have that problem too.

Yeah, I am pretty sure there must have been an upgrade to shockwave... but I looked back and there was no update reported. It happened the day Narnie put the windmill fire vid on... I looked at his vid, then a bit later on I saw his embedded vid was just that black line... but mine was still ok below it.... the next time I looked, mine was the same... just a black line :noidea

It just means I have to get the actual link, I cant see the embedded ones, cant even get the link from it....

Nabs, it is not just this site... it is any site with embedded vid.... I have tried the magic words on all sites too .... it didn't help.... but made me feel better :fickyou :laughing :rofl

Hopefully there will be other people complaining and they will fix it and put another upgrade out :laughing :yoda2 :Wolvie
