I hope y'all have a safe Bensen Days, I for one would love to see some reports/pics of what is going on....

Feel free to use this thread to put any news/reports/pics/stories for we that cant be there :badluck :cry

Hopefully no one will be landing on the black house lawn this year... hopefully Dr Igor Kavaca will make sure no one does :noidea :laughing :rofl

Most of all, have fun and stay safe.... hope the weather is kind to y'all :like :koolaid :bigballs :half :yoda2 :Wolvie

If you see me there, it isn't me (and I really feel sorry for the poor guy you thought looked like me).

Couldn't make it this year. Besides, it would be vacuous to be there without a machine to fly AGAIN.

Had a busy day Thursday ... early morning fog today ... nice to get some time to visit & relax!

I flew 7 demo flights ... including one with my ground-school ( Tim O'Cs - PRA online G-school) budy Kevin O'Kane ... who re-did ground schoool this year ! We did a fun mini XC to Solomons' castle ...I showed him the Peace carved into the tree grove @ their driveway ... only seen from air or satellite! ....VERY COOL!!!

Mark & I got a flight in before the Pilot briefing ... Mark getting a refresher frontseat... I had abit of backseat landing practice!

Hoping the weather hasn't put too many off ... getting a couple of good days with S winds!

Seems to have been a few die-hards here early & filled up some yesterday ...hoping we can see abig influx today!

Rumor going around Gabs will be a NO show ???? ..... Happy to hear you'll stop by at least Sat!

Where's Darren???

I am glad there is at least a rumor about me.... :rofl
I don't know if I could have been any more clear about working long hours and being there Saturday? :noidea
The positive thing about the rumor of me not going is that you will see a bunch of people showing up who hate my guts and refused to come to BD because I was running it! :der
LOL. I am sure Jake started the rumor :drum
Anyways. I have a few European friends coming so I am bound to be there no matter what!
Even though I am not in the driver seat I am still doing the club things in the background.
Chris tell them liars to shut the fuck up! :first
HUGZ I'll see you tomorrow hon.
Keep flying that beautiful machine!!!! I hope you guys get to sell a lot of them :plike
OH and :fickyou FJ

Had a great time yesterday (Thursday) meeting Jake and FJ.
Got to take a lot of pics of Jake's gyro.....man his ride is SANITARY!
Pictures are nice, but it was even better seing it in person. Beautiful work Jake!
He was busy at check-in taking money, selling hats T shirts and explaining all the rules.....#1 There are no rules.
Got my hat and paid my dues.....you did get my dues right Jake.....Jake?

Also got to meet FJ, what a hoot that was. I had to take a test first....was I the FAA? no...
was I Homeland Security? no.....was I the FBI? nope not that either. What fun. Got filled in on the new venture TAGNA. He and Chris were very busy with the Titanium which was generating a lot of interest and their new venture TAGNA. That's FJ fueling the Titanium.

Sorry to have missed ya Drop Bear, Gabs, Tom, have fun and stay safe.
Jerry

Nice looking buggy you got there FJ.... :like :koolaid

Just be careful refueling that way, with the plastic can, plastic funnel etc... maybe invest in a tin funnel and run a wire with a clip to the metal frame somewhere near....

I am only mentioning it because we had someone refuelling plastic on plastic and the gyro did a dog impersonation (it went 'woof') :eek :drama :puke

No one injured, but the gyro got a bit toasty around the filler area...

Evidently the friction of the gas on the plastic is great for making static electrickery.... a steel funnel with an earth wire lessens the likelyhood of a static spark about 99.99999999999999999999999 % :like :pop

Just sayin' ... takin' care of my big buddy :like

but.... :fickyou anyway :laughing :yoda2 :Wolvie

Muz: Ah, what happened to the Bulldozer, indeed!

Therein lies the problem. I haven't hit a lick on it in months. I =hope= to get started on it again soon.

...unless you mean why is it all apart and in pieces....that's another story.
