First it was Bowie, now Glenn Frey (eagles).... who next FGS? Steve Urkel??



I wrote this for Glenn Frey just now.... very original words

And so it ends....

I guess it had to happen one of these nights? After spending his life in the fast lane, with witchy women and lying eyes and the one you love.... this lost Desperado, once the new kid in town.... a victim of love who used to take it to the limit, wasted time at the hotel California drinking Tequila Sunrise and admiring the pretty maids all in a row. He was definately in it for the long run, the journey to the sorcerer has left a hole in the world. Now he has to learn to be still, no more cloudy days, definitely a heartache tonight. I hope he will be finally getting to take it easy... remember, love will keep us alive. Poor ol' 55 ... I cant tell you why? After the thrill is gone, I guess we can try and love again....
Too late for soul searching I guess? The heat is on, even after hours, this will be the allnighter. No fun allowed in this Strange Weather

Same here Lofty, one of my favorite lines.... have always been intrigued with Hotel California as well....

Most of the Eagles, Creedence, Beach Boys and Meat Loaf (entire Bat out of Hell album) are some of my all time faves....

From WAY simpler times.....

Bat out of Hell still has to be one of the best ever Rock and Roll albums. Meat Loaf did not do much else that was remarkable, but that was a standout album. Yes simpler times.
Glad I got to see the Eagles with Glen Frey a few times - the last time was about 2-3 years ago here in Orlando.
