Any of you guys ever own or fly one? I have my taildragger endorsement, but would need some brush up with a CFI. I like the F model with the 90 engine, they seem to be reasonably priced and have a decent reputation. What do you have had had them think? |

I have a couple of flights in one. The cockpits are tight, and the gear is a little on the narrow side. My Cessna 140 is like a slightly larger version of the Luscombe. Cockpit is roomier (about 3" wider), main gear is a little wider (but springier), it'll cruise @ 105 mph with a C-90, and top speed is 120. They originally came with fabric wings, but many have been metalized like mine. A Cessna 120 is the same plane but without flaps. |

Evidently, they are pretty tuff Edit: To me tho, someone should have told them it would be better for the passengers to be I INSIDE the plane, rather than outside of it? |

Notice how the women wear skirts/dresses and men wear pants? No girls wearing track pants and jeans.... no tattoos everywhere.... no one fiddling with a phone Cant be from this century Must have been pre-McDonalds.... I don't see any fat people? I wouldn't want to fly those planes tho.... I'll have one that hasn't had 28 people sitting all over it thanks |

Look up Texas taildragger. This black feller i saw at the airport had a c150 converted to a tail dragger. He also had a biplane that did aerobatics when it flew past.that's another story tho |

NO SHIT !!!!! You definitely want flaps ! When I was flyinh the J-3 CUB I was always wishing I had flaps . I was just looking on barnstormers.com for a cheep C-150's to do a tail drager kit on . It wouldn't be a classic, but it would be cheep, efficient and fun . |
